Accounting & Payroll

You will need these frequently requested skills to really do well:

Under our finance team are the accounting and payroll responsibilities.  This team manages the payroll, accounts receivables and accounts payable processes for the company. This means every vendor invoice and overhead is paid by this team as well as receiving and applying all customer payments for services.

Part of these responsibilities includes reconciling accounts and bank statements. They also ensure purchase orders are up to date and are paid on-time and correctly. The accounting team prepares monthly financial analysis of the company.

Individuals that enjoy numbers, computers, excel, and reconciling would enjoy working in this team. You must be process and detail oriented to be successful.

A Day in the Life of Accounting and Payroll

Morning

Verify emails, gather data needed for payroll such as time sheets, salary changes, etc.  The accounting team processes invoices, purchase orders, and accounts receivables such as cash receipts.

Midmorning

Calculate wage rates.  Run reports as needed.  Submit payroll.

Afternoon

Reconcile payroll accounts, upload benefit information into systems. Ensure funds are available for different processes to occur successfully. The accounts payable and receivable team ensure parts and equipment has been received before payment to vendors as well as identify any discrepancies between quotes and bills.  They also process taxes and provide information as needed for audit purposes.

There’s nothing better than enjoying coming to work because of the great team we have.
