A Day in the Life of Management

 
 

Morning

Check-in with team members and ensure that everyone understands what needs to get accomplished for the day. Identify coaching opportunities 

 
 

Midmorning

Monitor emails and phone calls to answer questions and address issues that pop-up. Assist team in accomplishing daily goals. Sometimes this involves actually helping with the required tasks and other times it involves creating the plan and coordinating the effort. Also continue working on strategic initiatives that are focused on improving employee engagement, the customer experience, or the business results.

 
 

Afternoon

Ensure work completion. Professionally and empathetically hold the team accountable for accomplishing the goals of the day. Look ahead and make sure the team is ready for the challenges of the future.
