The purchasing team coordinates material and equipment ordering and delivery for HVAC projects. They are a highly organized team that keeps timelines in mind to ensure project goals are achieved.


 

A Day in the Life of a Purchaser

 
 

Morning

Read emails and go over orders in process and from the day before. Confirm and follow-up on order deliveries. Coordinate returns of unused material.

 
 

Midmorning

Process purchase orders, call in orders to vendors and enter orders into record keeping system. The residential team searches for mechanical permits with the town.

 
 

Afternoon

Review invoices for materials and equipment to make sure pricing is correct and equipment or materials have been received compared to our orders. Re-confirm order deliveries and process any last-minute ordering requests.
