You will need these frequently requested skills to really do well:

 

Our sales consultants require at a minimum a high-level understanding of the technical aspects of an HVAC system. They meet with clients to understand their cooling and heating needs for their home or office and propose solutions.

Back at the office, our sales consultants create and submit proposals for which clients review, approve, and that initiates the process. Our sales consultant then works with our production team to ensure a smooth and successful installation.

You will enjoy this career if you look forward to meeting new people on a daily basis and helping them understand their HVAC needs. You must also be effective at negotiating cost to ensure the project is successful. If you enjoy a fast paced and technical environment you would do well in this role.


 

A Day in the Life of a Sales Team Member

 
 

Morning

Meetings with internal stakeholders followed by meetings with clients in their home or office. Complete site assessments and develop plan for installation.

 
 

Midmorning

Complete more clients calls, draft proposals and quotes.

 
 

Afternoon

Connect with production team to ensure installation is on schedule. Draft more proposals. Connect with clients to ensure they are happy with the execution of the installation or to ensure they are aware of current project timelines and deliverables.
