As the Vice President of Commercial Contracting, I l

I attended Ferris State University, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering Technology. I was recruited out of college and relocated from Michigan to Connecticut in 2003. It was intriguing to work for a smaller HVAC company where I could grow my career.

My technical background and commitment to excellence have significantly contributed to our success. I enjoy helping others reach their full protentional; and find it fulfilling when people accomplish their goals and reach beyond to accomplish things they never thought possible.

The most valuable skill I have developed since joining ENCON is Empowerment. In the beginning of my career I was empowered to learn, make decisions, make mistakes, and learn some more.  Along the way I have learned how to empower others to do the same.

The best piece of career advice I could share with someone entering the HVAC industry is to become a student of the industry. Learn to understand how and why things happen, which will help you troubleshoot more effectively. Do what you say you are going to do. A long time ago, a wise man told me that you build credibility by doing the things you say you are going to do. This is one of the best pieces of advice I was ever given.

Vice President of residential Service

Joined Encon in 2009

I began my career in HVAC after graduating from Abbott Tech in 2001 and further developed my skills as a refrigeration mechanic in the US Marine Corps after graduation. Upon returning to civilian life in 2005, I excelled as an HVAC Service and Installation Technician before joining ENCON in 2009.

My dedication to leadership and technical excellence allowed me to quickly rise through the ranks—first as a Field Supervisor in 2011, then as Residential Service Manager in 2013, and Director of Service in 2020. In 2023, I was promoted to Vice President of Service Operations, where I continue to drive excellence and innovation in our service delivery.

My ongoing mission is to mentor and develop my team, helping them excel in their careers and achieve their personal and professional goals. I am committed to fostering a supportive and open environment, helping each team member not only excel professionally but also achieve personal milestones.
