As a critical services provider we are available for all your service needs during the Covid-19 crisis. We have systems in place to continue to respond after-hours, 24 hours a day to ensure that we are providing peace of mind for our customers. Our technicians have the tools to complete your preventative maintenance or service call, adhering to the latest CDC social distancing guidelines and our heightened safety protocols.

Safety is our first priority

At Encon, we operate from a strong foundation built around five Service Standards. The first and most important of these standards is Safety. The safety of our employees, our customers, their homes and properties is of utmost importance to us and therefore, as a company, we are taking every precaution related to the outbreak and looming presence of this virus. We continually monitor CDC guidelines and listen carefully to public health authorities. Any and all new information is shared with our employees in order that they be equipped to be as safe as possible. As our service employees enter your homes and places of business, we are acutely aware of the concerns this creates. Please know that our service technicians, installation teams and sales representatives are all prepared to practice heightened hygiene behaviors. These behaviors include the more standard recommendations as well as
additional precautions. These include: 

  • Frequent handwashing and hand sanitizing.

  • Social distancing of no less than 6’

  • Limit person to person contact as much as possible (no hand shaking).

  • Limit use of customer bathroom facilities.

  • Only place your tools in your tool bag when not being used – not client’s floors.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze in the crook of your elbow or into a tissue.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Use service entrances or direct mechanical room access wherever possible.

  • All employees are required to wear single use, disposable gloves OR sanitized work gloves for sales, service call or installation.

  • Employees and contractors must sanitize all tools and equipment brought into a customer’s home or business (things that are high touch).
